Don Sunshine Ministries has been privileged to touch tens of thousands of lives and see thousands come to faith in Jesus Christ through our teaching people how to share their faith in Christ every day...without fear, embarassment, or hesitation.
Jesus commanded His followers down through the ages to “Make disciples of all nations”. So let me ask you a question, “How are you doing with that?” If Jesus commanded us to make disciples and if you are not sharing your faith and beginning the discipleship process, do you really believe that one day you’ll hear Him say, “Well done, My good and faithful servant?” As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to be His full time Ambassadors representing Him to the lost people in our lives. Yet for some reason most professing followers of Christ never share their faith in Christ with anyone!
The "Make a Difference” or "M.A.D. Live Event" is a 4-hour event that is presented “Live” in churches. We usually do these on a Saturday or a Sunday. Don has taught this over 700 times in 36 states and Canada, equipping over 41,000 people. God has blessed us to see over 1,700 give their lives to Christ at the Live Events. All praise, honor, and glory be to God! We’d love to come to your church to help equip the believers to begin sharing their faith in obedience….without fear or embarassment. Today I was in Shelby, NC completing M.A.D. Live Event # 806 at Double Springs Baptist Church. We had about 60 people attend and we praise God that one Marine gave his life to Jesus Christ at the event! There was great rejoicing in the presence of angels over his decision to repent (Luke 15:10)! Glory to God!
This was such a great group or people to share with, adn the fellowship was amazing during the breaks and lunch. Several people traveled from other churches and one couple drove about 2 hours to attend.
I want to thank Tonya, Gordon, and Cindy for working to make this happen in their church. Our ministry continues almost exclusively by word of mouth, so if you know some pastors, please tell them about it! Thank you!
I am so excited about the return of warmer weather! I am anxious to be doing both motorcycle and off-road ministry as the weather has warmed up!
We completed two M.A.D. Live Events in April. I am also presenting Ron Hutchcraft’s 6-week training called, “Your Hope Story” in our home church. Are you born again? If so, you have a story that you can tell that can impact someone’s eternity. Psalm 107:2 says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story.” While discussing “religious” topics can open the doors for disagreements, or worse yet, arguments, no one can argue with “YOUR” story! Can you tell your story? This 6-week video series and workbooks can be downloaded for free, or the books may be purchased. They can be used individually or in a small group setting. I was blessed to have taken my Pastor (Cody) to a Pastors’ Luncheon, sponsored by “The Light FM” in Greenville, SC. About 100 pastors attended, and we had a great time with the radio station staff. The food was great, Brandon Heath sang a few songs, followed by a funny Christian comedian, and a short encouraging message for the Pastors by. “The Light” staff stuffed each of the Pastors’ gift bags with one of our new M.A.D. flyers. So far, I haven’t heard from any of the pastors, but please pray they read the flyer and contact me about coming to their church to help equip their people.
Here's a few short testimonies I received this month:

It's been over 10 years since we attended our first MAD event and was introduced to sharing our faith like never before. Thank You! Now we are Gideons but still use PTL tracks in jails and prisons and Interstate Rest Areas. We have been blessed to be a blessing to share the Gospel.”
“On the way to a recent doctor appointment, I got to share the Gospel in the taxi with Alvin while driving there; he's Muslim. On the return trip, I shared the Gospel with Dan, who thinks there may be a God, but doesn't know who He is. Lord please save them!”
According to the notes in my “Divine Appointment” book, I was blessed to sow Gospel seeds in the hearts of 35 people this month. Here’s the breakdown:

We have had to do a few repairs and make some modifications to the Newmar coach we were gifted with. We will be taking it on our first overnight trip to North Carolina this weekend for a M.A.D. Live Event as a checkout trip. Lord willing all of the plumbing and other utilities will work flawlessly. We have been so blessed with this gift from the Lord which will make ministry travel much easier for us as we continue to serve Him as He has called us to do.

- With the slow schedule, please pray that God will continue to supply our financial needs that He normally provides through the love offerings. With no Live Events….no love offerings. We pray the funds will come in through other means.
